Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The 7th and 8th Grade Lions were victorious Thursday night over the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans. The 7th grade team won 40-10 to improve to 13-2 and the 8th grade won 45-16 to move to 12-1 on the season. Garrett Downey paced the 7th graders with 13 points. Jack Divine; Zach Lyon; and Kaleb McCloskey each had 6 points. Liam Strange had 3 points and August Weitkamp; Mason Mathias; and Kendall Wilson each had a basket. All the Lions who played in tonight's 8th grade game scored. Knox Jeffers led the Lion 8th grade attack with 18 points. Hiram Tedrow had 6 points. Ethan Wildman had 5 and Jaxon Foster had 4. Landon Steman had 3. Lucas Cramer; Ayden Gilliland; Jackson Lengacher; and Holden Lingenfelter each had two points. Hunter Walton added a FT to round out the Lion scoring. The JH Lions are back in action on Saturday when they host South Knox.
