On Thursday night, the JH girls were on the road once again, this time playing Bedford for the first time in several years in the old Cutters gym. The 7th grade opened the night. They got down quickly by 10 at one point, but brought it within one before the half. Despite this, Bedford proved to be too much for the Lady Lions, as they fell 29–39, dropping their record to 9–7. Elin Wade led the 7th graders in scoring with 11, Ayla Hawkins was next with 9, Emma Downey finished with 4, Abby Meyer and Remington Bell both had 2, and Kori Arvin finished with a single free throw. The Lady Lions are back in action Saturday morning at Shakamak. The 8th grade started a bit slow before jumping on Bedford and winning 45–18. Sydnee Salmon led in scoring with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Taryn Brown finished with 10 points, Addison Moore had 7, Brylee Bateman finished with 6, and Hattie Humerickhouse, Claire Wolfe, and Fara Fisher all finished with 2 points. Addy Lents also scored her first career bucket and finished with 2. This victory moved the 8th grade Lady Lions to 14–3 on the season. They are also back in action Saturday morning at Shakamak.
