Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The JH Lady Lions had their first game back after winter break Monday night at JBA against the Orleans Lady Bulldogs. This was the first of four games this week. The 7th grade opened the night with a 39–1 victory. They were led in scoring by Alyn Strange with 9, followed by Ayla Hawkins with 8. Elin Wade had 6, Abby Meyer and Kori Arvin each had 4, and Emma Downey, Remington Bell, Lyric Graber, and Sophia Ausbrooks all finished with 2 points. This victory moves the 7th graders to 9–5 on the season. The 8th grade also won in dominating fashion, 42–20. Fara Fisher led the 8th graders in scoring with 12, Taryn Brown was next with 10, Sydnee Salmon had 8, Brylee Bateman had 6, and Hattie Humerickhouse, Kensleigh Carrico, and Addison Moore each had 2. This win moved the 8th graders to 12–2 on the season. The JH teams are back on the road tonight at WRV.
