The boys 8th grade basketball team traveled to Castle North on Saturday morning to play Castle North and Castle South as part of the Castle Round Robin and came back home with two wins. They defeated Castle North 39-24 and Castle South 44-32. In the North game Knox Jeffers led the Lions with 22 points. Jaxon Foster had 7. Ethan Wildman added 5. Jackson Lengacher had 3 and Holden Lingenfelter had 2. In the second contest against Castle South, Knox Jeffers again paced the Lions with 21 points. Holden Lingenfelter joined him in double figures with 11. Jackson Lengacher had 5 points. Ethan Wildman had 4 and Jaxon Foster added 3. The Lions will return to action one more time before Christmas when they travel to Pike Central on Monday night.
