Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

On Tuesday night, the Loogootee JH Lady Lions traveled to Shoals for a single game. The 8th grade played the first half, and the 7th grade the second half. The 8th grade played first, winning 20–0 and moving their record to 10–2 on the year. Fara Fisher and Sydnee Salmon led in scoring with 6 points each. Taryn Brown, Hattie Humerickhouse, Kensleigh Carrico, and Addison Moore each finished with 2 points. The 7th grade followed up with a 15–4 victory. Abby Meyer led in scoring with 5, including a game-opening three, and also had 4 rebounds. Emma Downey and Kori Arvin each finished with 4, and Alyn Strange scored 2. The 7th grade moves to 7–5 on the year. Both teams are back in action Saturday with a makeup game against Mitchell at 10:30 at JBA.
