Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

Last night the JH Loogootee Lions gained big victories over the visiting Orleans Bulldogs. The 7th graders won 41-16 over Orleans and the 8th graders were 52-27 victors. The 7th grade is now 6-0 and our 8th graders are 5-1. Mason Mathias led the Lions in the 7th grade game with 11 points. Garrett Downey joined him with 10 points. Jack Divine had 8 points. August Weitkamp had four points; 3 for Zach Lyon; Liam Strange and Carter Watkins both had a basket; and Kendall Wilson added a FT. Knox Jeffers had the hot hand for the 8th grade Lions. He had 21 points. Holden Lingenfelter had 8 and Jaxon Foster and Ethan Wildman each had 7. Jackson Lengacher had 5 and Hiram Tedrow had 2. The JH Lions will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Evansville Christian.
