.The 5th and 6th graders had to settle for a split with the North Daviess Cougars on Saturday. The 5th grade lost 32-24 and the 6th grade ran away 53-8. The 5th graders were led by Brodan Hawkins with 10 points. Keaton Smith had 5 and LJ Marks, Zane Roach, and Kash Wagler each had three. In the 6th grade contest the Lions led 45-2 at halftime and were able to get a lot of guys some valuable minutes in the 2nd half. Griffyn Thompson led the Lions with 22 points. Jenner Strange had 10 points and Kyle Wade had 9. Lucas Helderman had 8 and Eli Graber had 4. Both teams are back in action on Monday when they travel to Washington.
