Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

Last night the Lady Lions Junior High basketball team traveled to Vincennes Rivet, where they played one half of 8th grade and one half of 7th grade. The game ended with a final overall score of 45-8, and both the Lady Lions teams moved to 2-0 on the season. The 8th grade was led in scoring by Kensleigh Carrico with 10, followed by Taryn Brown with 8, Fara Fisher with 7, Sydnee Salmon with 4, and Claire Wolfe with 3. The 7th grade was led in scoring by Ayla Hawkins with 6, Emma Downey had 4, Alyn Strange 2, and Elin Wade had one point from a free throw. Both teams are back in action this weekend in the Loogootee Girls Tip-Off Classic.
