Lions Families! Volunteer sign-ups are open and ready. All sign-ups are going through Eventlink this year. Again, please be patient with us as this new platform is rolling out, but I think we’ll get into the swing of it quickly. If you have not yet signed up with Eventlink, that is our main form of communication going forward with calendars, scheduling, and communication. Please sign up ASAP. You will not be able to choose a volunteer position without it. If you are on the web-based platform, you will sign in to Eventlink as normal. On the top ribbon you will see “Event Jobs,” click. Under “School,” be sure it has Lions Sports Club. Across the “Event Jobs” bar, you will see “Worker Requests.” If you are not already approved, click “Request,” “Are you sure?” “Yes,” and then you’re approved. If you are already approved or once you have done that, go over to “Open Jobs” and you will see a listing of open assignments. Be sure to check the “View Note” on the side. Some positions are a single-time spot, and other positions are a seasonal spot. Once you accept the volunteer position and click confirm, you will be able to find it under “My Assignments” above. If you are on the app-based Eventlink, click “Menu,” then click at the top under “Requests,” be sure you are approved. If not, click for approval. Then go to “Open Jobs” and most all volunteer positions are listed. Be sure to note if it is a season-long or single-time position. Click the green “accept” button when ready and confirm your choice. Again, you will find your spot under “My Assignments.” If you don’t see yourself in “My Assignments,” you are not confirmed for that position. Refresh and/or double-check you have confirmed your spot. Remember, all families must choose two single-time positions or one season-long position. Our club only runs with everyone’s support. Please do not sign up if you are not certain you can fill the position on a particular date! If you are on vacation during a season-long position, please try to find someone to cover that day and let us know of the date to help you if needed. Please contact me with questions!
