Friday the Hawks hosted the Springport Spartans in a Assembly dual in front of the entire student body as well as family and friends. It was a huge success due to the effort and tremendous contributions by Shawn Baynes, head coach of Laingsburg. Shawn helped create an exciting and memorable environment for all. We had several people sharing their enthusiasm for the event and their hope to do it again next season. The hawks pulled out a convincing win 46-34. Saturday the boys were able to keep their momentum rolling, finishing 5-0 with several 5-0 and 4-1 wrestlers. The team defeated several strong teams on the day.
