Lebanon High School is proud to officially welcome Nick Hinojosa as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. With a proven track record of leadership, program development, and student-centered coaching, Coach Hinojosa brings a bold and inspiring vision for the future of Lebanon Boys Basketball. Coach Hinojosa arrives from 4 years as Head Boys Basketball Coach at Monrovia High School, where he led the boys’ basketball program and oversaw more than 100 student-athletes spanning high school, middle school, and youth levels. His leadership has consistently emphasized holistic development, integrating offseason training, successful youth camps, and a strong focus on defense, sportsmanship, and community involvement. Before Monrovia, Hinojosa served as Head JV Coach and Varsity Assistant at Cascade High School from 2016-2021. He also worked with Impact Basketball Academy in Florida in 2015 and served as a regional scout for Netscouts Basketball, evaluating future professional athletes from 2014-2016. Coach Hinojosa’s coaching philosophy is rooted in six key values: growth, appreciation, accountability, resilience, unselfishness, and belief. These principles will shape both the on-court strategy and the off-court culture of the Lebanon Basketball program. The Lebanon youth Basketball system, which includes Lebanon Middle School, the Indiana travel ball programs, and a structured in-house league, will continue to expand and flourish under Coach Hinojosa’s leadership. Serving grades K–8, the youth program will emphasize skill development, character, and long-term growth in alignment with the core values of Lebanon Basketball. In addition to his coaching credentials, Coach Hinojosa is an experienced educator, having taught both Business and Special Education. His ability to deliver differentiated, standards-based instruction reflects the high academic and personal standards he holds for himself and his students. And we are excited to have him teaching at Lebanon High School. Coach Hinojosa’s appointment marks a new chapter for the Lebanon Boys Basketball program. It is one grounded in tradition, driven by purpose, and focused on developing not just great athletes, but great people.
