The Lebanon Tigers XC teams competed in a warm race at the Charger Classic on Thursday evening, hosted by North Montgomery. The Lady Tigers placed 2nd behind a strong Hamilton Heights team. 1st Hamilton Heights (29pts); 2nd Lebanon (70 pts). 3rd Seeger (72 pts); 4th Western Boone (133 pts); 5th Rensselaer Central (135 pts); 6th Crawfordsville (169pts); 7th Cascade (179 pts); 8th North Montgomery (185pts); 9th Fountain Central (205 pts); 10th Southmont (222 pts). Penny Lamerson was the overall champion in a time of 19:51. Finishing in the top 15 and receiving a ribbon was Sophie Kyker 11th and Abbi Riggs in 13th. Rounding out the top 7 for the Lady Tigers was Izzy Metheny 21st, Claire Larson 28th, Soteria Udu 29th and Marli McConnell in 38th. Also running in the Varsity Race was Averee Maciel 39th, Charlotte Kleindl 45th, Leah Ziats 53rd, Hadley Warren 59th, Hayleigh Coyle 65th, Amellia Spencer 67th, and Abbie Guilliams in 69th. The boys’ team had good competition and finished 3rd behind Hamilton Heights 1st (52 pts) and Cascade 2nd (74 pts). 3rd Lebanon (95 pts); 4th Crawfordsville (108 pts); 5th Rensselaer Central (144 pts); 6th Seeger (148 pts); 7th North Montgomery (169 pts); 8th Southmont (198 pts); 9th Parke Heritage (223 pts); 10th WEBO (227 pts); 11th Herron (270 pts). Leading the way for the guys and finishing in the top 15 to receive a ribbon was Tyler Meyer in 4th with a time of 17:19 and in 6th was William Meyer in 17:23. Rounding out the scoring was Isaac Harvey 21st, Levi Pittman 28th, Brynner Sloan 36th, Philip Kiper 41st and Jovani Suarez 45th.
