The Varsity Tigers (3-4-1, 2-0) travelled to Frankfort looking to continue their momentum in conference and came out with a well deserved win. Lebanon came out strong looking to control the midfield and after some settling down were able to do so for much of the match. Ali Almolhem opened up the scoring with a solo hustle play recovering the ball near the penalty spot and beating the keeper one on one. Shortly after Ylljon Emerllahu finished off the scoring with a strong side-netting finish from 20 yards out. The Tigers maintained their control over the midfield through the second half and were able to withstand significant pressure from Frankfort as the Tigers shifted into a more defensive formation for the final 20 minutes. The Tigers come out of the weekend leading the conference with a 2-0 record and prepare to host Western Boone on Thursday for their 3rd consecutive conference game.
