We have a lot to be proud of and show how “Formed by Faith, United in Excellence, we are LC” reflects in athletes. We can proudly say that we have had one of the best years in school history and are top 5 in the state of Michigan in the success we have achieved this school year. - We had a 96% participation rate of students playing a sport. - 19 seniors signed to play a college sports, which is 24% with the national average of 6%. - 8 district championships, half of them being girls sports. - 7 regional championships, 3 girls and 4 boys. - 1 state runner up, boys. - 2 state championships, 1 girls and 1 boys. - 1 Individual girls state championship, girls cross country. Districts- Football, Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Softball, Baseball. Regionals- Football, Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Girls Bowling, Boys Golf, Baseball. Runner ups- Boys Tennis. State Championships- Football, Girls Basketball. CHSL championships- Football, Boys Tennis, Girls Basketball, Boys Golf, Softball, Boys bowling, Girls Bowling. CHSL Academic Individuals- 24 student athletes. Team Academic All State- 3 teams.
