Both the Girl’s and Boy’s track and field teams competed in the Rising Sun Invitational last night. The girls came in 1st place with a total of 182 points. 1st place finishers were Molly Steuer in the shot put and the discus, Lucy Thornton in the 100 and 200-meter dash, Morgan Manford in the 400-meter dash, Ellie Fox in the 1600-meter run, Aubree Labazzo in the 300-meter hurdles, Alahna Beinkemper in the high jump and the long jump, as well as the 4x100 meter relay 4x400 meter relay and 4x800 meter relay teams that all set new school records! Amazing job, ladies! The boys came in 2nd place with a total of 138 points 1st pace finishers were Kasey Sharpshair in the high jump, Colton Roth in the discus, Jake Elza in the mile, Ryan Hinthorne in the 110-meter hurdles, Luke Thornton in the 300-meter hurdles, as well as the 4x800 meter relay that also set a new school record! Your Tigers are back in action next Tuesday at Batesville in the conference championship. Go Tigers!
