Two Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference basketball teams will come together this month for cancer awareness. The Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers will host Rushville for their annual “pink” game, called Hooping for Hope on Saturday, December 17. The junior varsity game will start at noon, followed by tipoff of the varsity contest at 1:30. This event will raise awareness for all types of cancers and support people in need. All proceed from t-shirt sales, donations, raffles, and a portion of ticket sales will go to IWIN. The organization supports individuals statewide receiving treatment for breast cancer by relieving emotional, physical, and financial burdens.
