Lawrenceburg had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Dearborn Knights a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by three goals or more this season. They hit South Dearborn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Merkel, Alivia Bushman, and Preslee Rugg. The victory made it two in a row for Lawrenceburg and bumps their season record up to 17-1. As for South Dearborn, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-6-1 record. Lawrenceburg will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. Madison is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
