The Tigers never let the Raiders get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new. Jillian Cavanaugh was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Aubree White was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Lawrenceburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Ripley only posted an OBP of .176. The victory made it two in a row for Lawrenceburg and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for South Ripley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Looking ahead, Lawrenceburg will venture away from home to face off against Rushville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for South Ripley, they will be playing at home against Southwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
