The Slicers finished an impressive 6th place finish at the Harrison Invite, missing the podium by only 2 points. Most of the runners had career PR's in the competitive event. The Slicers were lead by Jack Miscowicz who placed 3rd with a time of 15:38. He improved his personal best time by 40 seconds, putting him his time as 4th in LaPorte Cross Country History! The next two finishers for the Slicers were Evan Howes (24th-16:34) and Caleb Rose (28th-16:41). Both athletes walked away with big personal bests as well. Finishing the scoring for LaPorte was Reagan Buchanan (17:16) and Luke Romine (17:37). In the JV race, the Slicers were lead by Brody Griffin (17:49) and Andrew McKie (17:57). The Slicers had a total of 8 athletes under the 18:00 mark! The Slicers will compete at the New Prairie Invite on September 20th. KTBR!
