Tuff Loss To Valpo 14-7 Freshman vs Valparaiso HS (7-14) Loss The Slicers suffered their first loss tonight to the Vikings. La Porte was able to score late in the 1st quarter with a rushing touchdown from Landon Elliott. Leo Gonzales made the PAT. Valpo scored early in the 2nd quarter to tie the game at 7. Samuel Norman was able to recover a fumble for the Slicers before the half to give the La Porte another chance before halftime. The Vikings scored in the 3rd to go up 14-7. Your Slicers kept fighting and battling until the final whistle. We will be at home next week to take on Chesterton.
