LaPorte Junior Varsity Slicers fell to the Lake Central Indians 15-0 in their opener. Starting pitcher Keraghan Blind gave up 11 runs and 11 hits in three innings, and was relieved by Mia Johnson who gave up four runs on four hits in two innings of work. LaPorte's only hit of the game came with two outs in the bottom of the fifth when Giana Antisdel ripped a single to center.
