Slicers fall on the road at Michigan City

The visiting Slicers Boys basketball team fell 74-63 to Michigan City on Friday night. A cold-shooting third quarter turned the tides after La Porte led at halftime. The Slicers were led by Griffin Ott-Large with 26 points. Nic Spence added 19 points, 12 rebounds and Sawyer Tonagel had 11 points, going 3/4 from beyond the three point line. The loss drops La Porte to 11-5 (2-1 DAC) on the season. The Slicers are back in action January 31 at Crown Point where they take on the #2 ranked Bulldogs.
