Slicer Gymnastics Win Over Chesterton High School 94.775 - 90.8 The Slicers Girls' Gymnastics Team won their season opener tonight over Chesterton 94.775 to 90.8. Sophomore Evie Travis led for the Slicers placing 2nd on Vault 8.45, Bars 8.475, Beam 8.875, and All-Around 34.425 and was 3rd on Floor 8.625. Freshman Kate Doty was 3rd on Vault 8.1, Bars, 7.55, Beam 8.1, and All-Around 32.4 and was 2nd on Floor 8.65. Sophomore Genny Witulski was 6th on Vault, 8th on Bars 4.725, 4th on Beam 7.2, 7th on Floor 7.2, and 5th All-Around 26.35. Junior Jules Schadt was 4th on Vault 8.0, 5th on Bars 5.925, 7th on Beam 5.85, 9th on Floor 5.85, and 7th All-Around 25.825. This was a great first meet on the season! The Slicers host Crown Point Tuesday, Jan. 14 at their home opener. Congrats ladies!
