The LaPorte varsity volleyball team picked up a 25-18, 25-13, 21-25, 25-17 Duneland Athletic Conference victory over Michigan City on Tuesday night. Offensively, Elizabeth Anglin and Avery Tulacz led the way with 15 kills each. Madison Copeland added seven kills with Kaitlin Wilson contributing five kills. Lilly Buckley dished out a team-high 25 assists. Defensively, Tulacz had 20 digs with Emma Hull adding 13 digs and Anglin tallying 11 digs. Buckley and Shayla Sorg each contributed eight digs in the victory. At the net, Anglin, Copeland and Wilson all had two blocks each. On the service line, Tulacz had five aces with Hull tallying three aces. In the junior varsity contest, the Slicers won 25-6, 25-16.
