Slicers drop heartbreaker at Valpo 62-61

The Boys Varsity basketball team lost a heartbreaker Thursday evening at Valpo HS. A three-point play by the Vikings with 4.0 left in the fourth quarter were the deciding points scored in the contest. The Slicers were led by Rylan Kieszkowski with 22 points. Sawyer Tonagel had 14 points for the Slicers, making 4/6 from beyond the arc. Dylan Salisbury added 11 points. Nic Spence and Malick Corley chipped in 7 points, with Corley also pulling down 9 rebounds in the loss. The Slicers fall to 8-9 on the year, with a matinee road game Saturday at KV next.
