The Slicers hosted Knox tonight, and won against an undermanned team, 147-21. LaPorte won every event, and went 1-2-3 in most. We had two practices today before the meet, so there weren't a lot of PRs. LaPorte opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay, behind: Jakob Schroeder (backstroke), Abbas Hakim (breaststroke), Otto Wildhart (butterfly), and Chaise Adrian (freestyle). With this being a boys only meet, there wasn't much time for rest between events. Individual event winners were: Roman Garay: 200 Freestyle Gavin Crail: 200 Individual Medley Otto Wildhart: 50 Freestyle Andrew Hayes: Diving Jakob Schroeder: 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke. Allen Fuller: 100 Freestyle. Chaise Adrian: 500 Freestyle Abbas Hakim: 100 Breaststroke. LaPorte won the 200 Freestyle Relay behind: Crail, Wildhart, Fuller, and Garay. They also won the 400 Freestyle Relay behind: Adrian, Schroeder, Crail, and Hakim. The Slicers record climbs to 15-3. They head to Valparaiso this Saturday for the DAC Championship meet.
