Slicers Erase Double Digit Deficit to win 63-60 at Elkhart

The Slicers boys basketball team trailed by 15 points at the start of the 4th quarter, but rallied to earn a huge comeback victory over the host, Elkhart Lions. In historic Northside Gymnasium, LaPorte used a 27-9 fourth quarter to be able to notch its 5th victory of the season. La Porte was led by Rylan Kieszkowski with 21 points, including five made threes. Griffin Ott-Large had 15 points, the last of which provided La Porte it's first lead of the game, coming on a three pointer with :11 left. Malik Corley had 14 points, including 3 made threes and Nic Spence added 12 pts and 11 rebounds. The win gets LaPorte to 5-3 on the season, with the Holiday Tourney up next. LaPorte will take the floor again in a first round matchup with Lowell at Slicer Gym on 12/27 (11:30 AM CST).
