The LaPorte Slicer Wrestling team went 2-3 over the weekend at the Munster Super Duals. The Slicers defeated Michigan City and Wheeler while falling to Griffith, Munster and New Prairie. This brings the Slicers’ record to 10-13 as a team on the year. Finishing the day undefeated for the Slicers was Porter Ivankovig (19-4), Josh England (14-3), and Christian Ford (11-5). Also wrestling well for the Slicers was Landyn Hunt (15-3), Isaac Kleist (17-5), and Drew Oss (7-2) who all went 4-1 on the day. The Slicers will be back on the mat for competition on Friday, December 29th for the Al Smith Invitational.
