In another decisive win, the Slicers beat Elkhart 132-53. The Slicers led from the start with a win in the 200 Medley Relay behind: Jakob Schroeder (backstroke), Abbas Hakim (breaststroke), Otto Wildhart (butterfly), and Chaise Adrian (freestyle). In a meet where we were able to switch up events a little bit, Abbas Hakim jumped into the 200 Freestyle, and won in a close race over teammate Roman Garay. Hakim also won the 100 Breaststroke. Otto Wildhart won the 50 Freestyle, with Allen Fuller coming in second. Andrew Hayes and Landon Corbett went 1-2 in Diving. Hayes and Corbett also stepped up to fill swimming spots. They both had some pretty impressive relay splits for athletes who spend most of their time in the Dive Tank. Roman Garay and Allen Fuller went 1-2 in the 100 Freestyle. Garay continues to drop time, hoping to break into the high 40's by Sectionals. Chaise Adrian had a season best time in the 500 Freestyle, to win, with teammate Chase Childers coming in second with a near PR swim. Shoutout to Milo Jimenez, who finished fourth only tenths away from a PR. LaPorte won the 200 Freestyle Relay behind: Gavin Crail, Wildhart, Fuller, and Garay. Jake Schroeder, Karter Griffin, and diver Andrew Hayes went 1-2-3 in the 100 Backstroke. All 3 Slicers had excellent races. Along with Hakim's win in the 100 Breaststroke, teammates Chaise Adrian and Otto Wildhart swam well to finish 2-3. The Slicers closed out the meet with big win in the 400 Freestyle Relay behind: Adrian, Schroeder, Crail, and Hakim. The Boys record climbs to 10-2. They host Hobart this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
