The Slicers Girls Swimming and Dive Team traveled to Portage today, and lost 115-61. It was one of those meets where we were just outmanned. The Indians were strong and deep. We had several races that were close, but we fell short several times. There were some really good swims on the part of the Slicers. Lyla Bannwart had a couple of PRs, and Regan Hughes returned to swimming after a long layoff due to injury. Hughes looks to get back to form in the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle. The Slicers fall to 4-5 for the season. They host Jimtown and Marian this Saturday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
