The LaPorte Slicers Girls Swimming and Dive Team traveled to Michigan City, and topped the Wolves 118-63. The Slicers won nearly every event, and every Slicer scored points for the team. It was exciting to see some of our newer swimmers step up and grab some second and third place finishes. Top finishers for LaPorte were: 200 Medley Relay of Abigail Burger (Backstroke), Cali Hatala (Breaststroke), Noor Hakim (Butterfly), and Lily Siford (Freestyle). Abigail Burger: 200 Freestyle Cali Hatala: 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle Lily Siford: 50 and 100 Freestyle Noor Hakim: 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke 200 Freestyle Relay: Katelyn Peterson, Sofia LaRocco, Carmen Eguizabal & Liz Luna 400 Freestyle Relay: Hatala, Siford, Burger and Hakim A big shoutout to Emma Boone and Akira Goodman, who stepped up and finished second and third in the 50 Freestyle.
