La Porte golf split a triangular Tuesday night at Forest Park in Valpo. La Porte defeated Portage 176-215 but lost to Valpo 176-158. Lukas Albin led the Slicers with a 41. Evan Sittig, Burke Penziol, and Oscar Saban all shot 45 to round out the scoring. The JV Slicers shot a 184 to beat Portage but lost to Valpo 184-174. Gabe Younggreen led La Porte JV with a 43. Braydin Miller followed with a 46, Logan Cooney 47, and Dane Penziol 48. Next up for the Slicers will be a triangular with Michigan City and Chesterton on Tuesday at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course.
