The LaPorte volleyball team improved to 19-2 on the season and 8-1 in DAC play with a 25-16, 27-25, 25-15 victory at Crown Point on Tuesday night. Offensively, Ava Holtz led the Slicers with 12 kills, while Bella Meier tallied six kills and Madison Dhoore added five. Elizabeth Anglin and Emalee Maesch recorded four kills in the win. Meier dished out a team-best 28 assists. Defensively, Izzy Freese had 20 digs with Anglin recording 15. Meier had 14 digs and Maesch had 13 digs. At the net, Meier and Kate Buckley each had three blocks. On the service line, Holtz had five aces and Freese contributed two.
