Slicers win on the Road at Concord 77-57

The La Porte Slicers used a huge second half to grab a big road win at Concord, 77-57. La Porte found itself down 39-30 in the third quarter before a 27-0 run gave the Slicers a double digit lead. La Porte was led by Griffin Ott-Large with 22 points, 9 assists. Preston Scheidt added 17 points, Destin Matzke had 15 points, 16 rebounds, and Sawyer Tonagel added 15 points, 10 rebounds. With the win, La Porte improved to 13-5 on the year. At the start of the third quarter, Slicer junior Griffin Ott-Large knocked down a three-pointer, totalling his 1000th point scored in his HS career. Griffin is just the 11th La Porte player in history to score 1000 and the first to accomplish this feat during his junior year!
