La Porte boys varsity basketball fell on the road at Valpo on Thursday, 77-72. The Slicers dropped to 13-6 on the year with the loss. Griffin Ott-Large and Sawyer Tonagel led the way with 27 and 22 points on the night. Ott-Large finished with 11 assists, while Tonagel knocked down 6 three pointers on the night and pulled down 6 rebounds. Tim Knoll added 13 points, 5 rebounds and Destin Matzke pulled down 7 boards to go along with 6 points for the night. La Porte is back in action Saturday afternoon at Kankakee Valley.
