LaPorte faced a very strong Lake Central team today and lost 121-55. The Slicers had a great meet as far as the clock goes, but the Indians were too deep. LaPorte finished second in the 200 Medley Relay with a season best time with: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Grace Caviston (breaststroke), Noor Hakim (butterfly), and Isabel Barron (freestyle). In the B Medley, Liz Luna dropped 3 seconds in her Butterfly split! Cali Hatala was second in the 200 Individual Medley with a lifetime PR of 2:30.55. Isabel Barron won the 50 Freestyle by 0.09 seconds in a great race. Michelle Clark won Diving. Noor Hakim had a season PR in both the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke, finishing second and third respectively. The 200 Freestyle Relay of Barron, Hatala, Caviston and Hakim finished a strong second with great splits. Grace Caviston won the 100 Breaststroke with a season best time of 1:13.45. The Slicers record fell to 10-3. They head to Highland on Thursday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
