Slicers defeat Lowell 51-28

The Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Lowell in Slicer Gym 51-28 on Friday night. The complete game by the Slicers featured contributions from many Slicers. Reed Raymond led the scoring effort with 15 points, tallying 4 steals as well. Griffin Ott-Large had 14 points, 5 assists, Destin Matzke had 8 points, 9 rebounds and keyed an early first quarter run with a breakaway steal and dunk. Timothy Knoll added 7 points and Sawyer Tonagel chipped in 5 pts, 4 rebs. With the win, La Porte improved to 3-1 on the season. La Porte is back in action tomorrow at South Bend Washington. JV tips off at 4 PM CST, with Varsity to follow.
