The Lansing Catholic boys soccer team’s memorable postseason run came to an end Wednesday night with a 7–0 loss to #2-ranked Detroit Country Day in the Division 3 State Semifinals at Parker Middle School in Howell. Despite the result, the Cougars showed the same determination that carried them throughout a remarkable season. Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Frank made several impressive saves against one of the top programs in the state, standing tall as the Cougars battled to the end. Lansing Catholic finishes the season with a 12–5–1 record, highlighted by CAAC White, District, and Regional Championships. The team’s run to the state semifinals reflects not only their talent on the field but also their unity, effort, and belief in each other.
