The Lansing Catholic varsity football team showed resilience and fight in Friday’s home game against Portland, even in a challenging night. Quarterback Isaac Gallegos completed 8 of 21 passes for 58 yards. On the ground, K. Mishler led the rushing attack with 56 yards on 15 carries and added a rushing touchdown. Though the final result didn’t lean in Lansing Catholic’s favor, the Cougars demonstrated toughness, execution in key moments, and flashes of strong play on both sides of the ball.
