Cougar Volleyball Wins St. Johns Tournament

The Lansing Catholic volleyball team continued its strong season with another first-place finish, winning the St. Johns Tournament on Saturday. The Cougars battled through four tough opponents and came out on top behind a balanced team effort. Match Results: Fowler – Won in 3 sets (23–25, 25–22, 25–18) Leslie – Won in 2 sets (25–13, 25–13) Freeland – Won in 2 sets (25–22, 25–16) Ionia – Won in 3 sets (19–25, 25–17, 25–22) Tournament Highlights: Sara Tolfree anchored the defense with 64 digs and 5 assists. Kyra Vukovic totaled 26 kills, 7 blocks, and 21 digs across the four matches. Leila Eyde and Morgan Nichols added 25 and 19 kills, respectively, giving the Cougars consistent power at the net. Leighton Marlan distributed the offense with 46 assists and added 17 digs. Kendall Young also contributed 31 assists and 24 digs. With the win, Lansing Catholic added another tournament title to its season résumé, showcasing depth, energy, and resilience on the court.
