The Lansing Catholic volleyball team showed grit and determination Tuesday night, battling through momentum swings to earn a five-set victory over Eaton Rapids. Set scores: 25–16, 25–23, 27–29, 22–25, 15–7 -Leila Eyde led the attack with 16 kills and added 2 digs. -Sara Tolfree anchored the defense with 22 digs and served up 7 aces. -Leighton Marlan ran the offense with 26 assists, 9 digs, and 3 aces. -Morgan Nichols chipped in 10 kills, 4 digs, and 3 aces. -Kate Partin tallied 8 kills and a dig. -Kyra Vukovic was strong at the net with 7 kills and 2 blocks. The Cougars came out strong, fought through adversity, and finished the fifth set with poise to secure the win.
