Former Lansing Catholic standout Tessa Roe C24 is making headlines at the next level. Now a sophomore at DePaul University, Roe captured first place at the Huskie Opener hosted by Northern Illinois this past weekend. Roe crossed the finish line in 17:55.26, improving on her 3rd-place finish at the same meet a year ago. She not only secured the victory but did so in dominant fashion, winning by more than 20 seconds. Her performance also helped lead the Blue Demons as they placed four runners in the top five to open their season in style. Roe continues to represent Lansing Catholic at the collegiate level, building on the foundation she set as a Cougar.
