The Lansing Catholic boys JV soccer program continued its early-season action with strong performances against Ionia. Junior Varsity earned its second straight clean sheet, rolling to a 5–0 victory. The Cougar attack was balanced and relentless, with goals from Daniel Otten (2), Christian Keilen (1), and Roman Maluchnik (2) powering the win. The defense once again stood tall, keeping opponents off the scoreboard for the second game in a row. Varsity battled hard in a competitive match, but fell 2–1. Gavin Rabideau provided the lone Cougar goal, assisted by Jake Wahl. Rabideau has now scored both of Lansing Catholic’s varsity goals so far this season. Both teams have shown resilience and growth early on, giving Cougar fans plenty to look forward to in the matches ahead.
