Lansing Catholic High School boys varsity soccer secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Lansing Sexton in the first round of District 41 play, capturing their second win over the Big Reds this season and advancing to the next round. The Cougars delivered a balanced offensive attack, opening with a stunning goal from Wangandu Mlulei directly off a free kick. Daniel Otten doubled the lead on a clean finish set up by Drew Stewart, before Stewart capped off the scoring himself off an assist from Abe Cuddeback. On the defensive end, goalkeeper Adam Killinger, supported by Zach Palsrok, Jake Wahl, Jacob Fuller and Hikaru Cruz anchored a relentless back line to earn a clean sheet shutout and lock down the win. With the victory, LCHS now moves on to this week's district semifinal for a high-stakes rematch against Eaton Rapids. 📸: TCP Photography
