Lansing Catholic Boys Soccer had a second shot at the Holt Rams, who handed them us a loss in the season opener, this time meeting in the CAAC Cup Bronze Division Semifinals Lansing Catholic pulled off a gritty 2-1 victory. The win was all the more impressive given the tough hand dealt, battling through a lineup depleted by both injuries and illness. When the team needed them most, the underclassmen rose to the occasion, filling some big shoes and delivering key performances across the field. At the same time, the upperclassmen sealed the win: Between the posts, Adam Killingsworth anchored the defense with a series of outstanding saves to protect the lead, while Drew Stewart (assisted by Zack Palsrok) and Zack Palsrok (assisted by Abe Cuddleback) provided the clutch finishing on offense to secure a hard-earned team win.
