Following one of the finest seasons in program history, the Lansing Catholic boys track and field team has been nominated by the Lansing State Journal for Top Greater Lansing Boys Team of 2025-26. The Cougars capped off a remarkable season by finishing as the MHSAA Division 3 State Runner-Up, coming just seven points shy of state champion Charlevoix. The second-place finish marked Lansing Catholic's best result at the state meet since the Cougars also finished runner-up in 2016. The nomination recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of the team and the dedication shown by the athletes and coaches throughout the season.
