The Lansing Catholic baseball team capped an impressive Diamond Classic run with a runner-up finish, falling to Mason 5–2 in the championship game. Competing against some of the area's top programs, the Cougars once again demonstrated the talent and determination that have defined their season. Despite the loss, Lansing Catholic produced several strong offensive performances. Jason Boldman led the way at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. His consistent production helped keep the Cougars within striking distance throughout the game. Ethan Link continued his outstanding season by finishing 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. Link's ability to impact the game both at the plate and on the bases has been a key part of Lansing Catholic's success this year. Connor Weber added a strong performance of his own, collecting two hits in three at-bats and scoring a run. Isaac Gallegos reached base twice, finishing 1-for-2 with a walk. While the championship game did not end in the Cougars' favor, reaching the Diamond Classic final is a significant accomplishment. The tournament annually showcases many of the best teams in the Lansing area, and Lansing Catholic once again proved it belongs among the region's elite programs. 📸: TCP Photography
