The Lansing Catholic girls soccer team saw its season come to a close in district competition after a hard-fought match against Durand ended in a 0–2 shootout result. The Cougars battled throughout regulation and overtime, keeping the match scoreless and giving themselves a chance to advance. Strong defensive play and determination helped Lansing Catholic compete until the final moments before the match was decided in penalties.
