The Lansing Catholic baseball team closed out conference play in emphatic fashion, earning a doubleheader sweep over Ionia to secure the conference championship and improve to an impressive 21–2 record on the season. Game 1 saw the Cougars set the tone early in an 11–1 victory, followed by a strong all-around performance in Game 2, where Lansing Catholic secured a 14–4 win to complete the sweep and officially clinch the title. Several Cougars delivered standout performances across both games. Ethan Link powered the offense, going 6-for-9 at the plate with a double, four RBIs, four runs scored, and three stolen bases, consistently creating pressure at the top of the lineup. Anthony Brannoff contributed a strong offensive showing, finishing 3-for-5 with four runs scored, one RBI, and three walks, helping keep the offense moving throughout both games. Jason Boldman provided one of the biggest offensive impacts of the day, going 4-for-7 with a home run, scoring three runs, and driving in seven RBIs, while also drawing a walk. Noah Jungwirth added steady production, finishing 3-for-6 with a double and one run scored.
