Offensive Leaders Several Lansing Catholic hitters played key roles in the sweep. Anthony Branoff paced the offense with a standout day, going 4-for-7 at the plate with five RBI and four runs scored. His aggressive baserunning also created pressure for the defense, as he added three stolen bases. Noah Jungwirth had one of the most efficient performances of the day, finishing 4-for-5 with a double, three RBI, and four runs scored as he consistently reached base and helped fuel the Cougar offense. Ethan Link also made a major impact, going 3-for-7 with a double, four RBI, and two runs scored, while swiping two stolen bases.
